I don't think I have conveyed my feelings about enchanting enough yet. When I first went to Outlands at 300 enchanting, I had to not only make a runed arcanite rod but quickly had to dish out a fel iron rod before I could skill up any more. No hard feelings, I somehow managed to get the gold to do so and thanks to being able to run pre-BC instances, I had more than enough enchanting mats for both. So then I level off the only two things that are worth anything, the AP to bracers and the mp5 to chest by enchanting everyone I know with these things. Now I'm at 335 enchanting and am now stuck. I spent what little gold I had left over to buy the Prismatic Sphere enchanter and the prismatic shards one, thinking I could easily get skill ups off of those.

Imagine my surprise that the instant I learned them, they both were gray. Ahhh. The only thing I have left that is orange is a shield enchant that requires an adamantite rod that I've yet to find the recipe for because I am still in Hellfire. The yellows I have all require intense mats, like primal lifes, large brills, and a ton of greater planar.

I guess enchanting's on the shelf for now until my level catches up to my skill. I do have nearly 350 tailoring though, which means soon I will become a slave to transmuting again.

When it came down to us needing an extra healer or two, I thought I could recruit them in. Well, that never works the way it should since the ones we do invite are alts and rarely played, they don't keep up. I'm tired of PuG's always booting me, the warlock, for a 70 or for a healer, or for some other person's friend who wanted to come. I rarely got that treatment as a healer personally.

Long story short, fourth priest I am leveling past 60. Good game.

I dislike when you get to the point of your profession where farming is useless, you need to actually kiss the ass of another profession and embrace it. Tailoring was easy to level up past 300, all I ever needed was available via farming and vendors. Cloth is easy to get. You kill a humanoid, they drop cloth. You kill several humanoids, you get lots of cloth. But now if I want to advance in my tailoring, I have to be friends with a skinner or an enchanter (thankfully I am one). I just hate when you get to that point. You know how much arcane dust tailoring requires? WAY TOO MUCH FOR ONE PERSON TO GET!

So now I'm torn between leveling enchanting or leveling tailoring. There's pros and cons to both. I get nice things from both. The likelihood of maxing both out before 70 = not happening. I try to advertise my enchanting skills in the trade channel and well... if you ever leveled enchanting, you know how that goes.

"cant u enchant crusader w/ur mats for 5g???"
"c'mon i'm too poor"
"can u cum to azshara btw wuts a tip???"

Why is it every one out there tries to rip me off with enchanting? It's always the lower level twinks that do it too, people who should know the costs of most of these enchants. Asking 3g with my own mats for an enchant where if I sold the mats right onto our current Auction House, I'd get 25g is a no no. Do people think I store up all these mats, waiting to give away pratically free enchants?

Well I don't. If I don't use it anymore, I sell it. The only pre-BC mats I have in my bank are Illusion Dust and Large Brills. So I know the price of small radiant shards and their larger counter parts. I know how much a GNE goes for. And to give you 25g worth of mats plus my time only for 3g isn't worth it. You can go ahead and be pissed off about it, but unless you're in my guild or someone I actually like, I simply don't care.

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know I was voted the world's worst warlock because I believe in group surviability more than increasing my DPS.

Long story short: I use Curse of Recklesness in humanoid instances. I always have because most of the time our group's can not handle the extra stress of another group pulled by accident. This druid insists I should use Curse of Shadows to increase both our DPS instead of CoR. I argue on why I use it, he insists mobs in instances don't run. So I stopped using it and the mobs start running duh. So I point it out and say I am using CoR from now on.

Of course, I'm stupid and a terrible warlock lololol. Coming from a druid that couldn't maintain his own aggro and probably couldn't tell the difference between his head and his ass. Ugh.

So tired of having to deal with PUG's. Especially PuG's that have this hatred against warlocks before we even enter the instance.

Long story short, I roleplay a dragon. SURPRISE?! Am I like those other retards in Goldshire that 'turn' into their true form in-game? No. In fact, Calestra is just a guise and I think only one person in-game knows but has never seen proof of it.

Any ways, funny image made last night when I was sadface. IT DOES NOT NEED EXPLANATION!

Yes, at the time that was the only screen shot I had taken of my dreadsteed. I think I have another one where it bugged and had my felpuppy out, but I am too lazy to actually upload it. Oh and for the record any one who actually needs to do their Dreadsteed quest Horde-side on Thorium Brotherhood can look me up and save money on the mats. Hell, if you're too lazy to buy a lodestone I'll do all that for you too but if I am doing all the work, you better either be a friend of mine or give me a nice tip *rawr*

So since I didn't do that big enough font.

I was linked this on Facebook and decided to make a page for our guild. The more promotion, the better... or so I am told.

The page for Revenant is at the following URL:

http://www.guildcafe.com/GuildAd.php?guildid=6913

I dislike that it lists all my characters as members of Revenant. Because Alliance characters can totally be in a Horde guild /sigh

The only way you can get one made is if you enter their drawing and get randomly selected? As if paying the $115 dollars to get the item is bad enough, it's completely random as to when it can happen. What the Hell are they actually thinking with that sort of thing? I mean, I know they will get swamped and all, but having a order list of people who pay right up front is even better than this random crap about making an account and randomly getting selected. Am I going to get chosen in a few years from now out of the blue when I'm done playing WoW and don't give a damn? Or are they going to take advantage of the people while they are on an all-time game high?

Way to disapppoint on your first day up.

It feels weird having random strangers come to my journal and the first post they see is me cursing Blizzard out for their horrible decisions in relation to the lore of their game. Ahahaha... I've returned to the world of Azeroth after braving far more dangerous feats (a wedding where I had to wear heels eek) and am halfway to 50. It's funny because in that half of a level the game will suddenly become fun again for me. I love rushing through and 'finishing up' the zones I left behind before going to the plaguelands, because I know I can start the Argent Dawn grind whenever, I just chose to hold off on it. Giddy, giddy, giddy - you know how I get when it comes to fun things.

Before I go off into week's worth of rants, I want to plug a couple of things. First off, Revenant. We could use more fresh blood for our alts to play with. Second is [info]azeroth_rp, an idea I mostly worked on while I was in Florida. I'm not sure if I will push it live or what, since there's very little interest in roleplaying on LiveJournal. That and with the new scare of LiveJournal business, a lot of players are moving on.

Now onto rants, that are short but still mean:

* Blizzard keeps screwing up their lore but at this point I don't really care. I just need to stop focusing on the stronger aspects of the game and play a class that's already been screwed so much that there's no way lore can be destroyed. So hi to you, gnomes :P

* I got asked to raid with my priest again. /sigh What part of "I rerolled." do people not quite get? Is it the "rerolled" part? Or the "fuck off I am not playing a healer so you guys can argue over who gets loot and be unfair to each other" part?

* I like how any time someone tries to recruit people out of [info]wow_ladies, the DOTA/DOTH people come out and scream that you should join their guild because it is omg the "bestest". Because finally clearing Kara almost a year after the expansion signifies best guild ever. And considering how much drama they create in their own community, I'm surprised the guilds haven't received any backlash from it. Oh, and the whole dealing with incompetent female gamers who are always sticking their nose where it doesn't belong = friendly guild environment for shizzle! Naga puh-leaze. In fact, I point this out in a nice manner and they're already ripping into me. SAME 'OL STORY AS IT HAS BEEN FOR YEARS *lol*

* Yes, I am only level 49. Maybe I level slow for others to catch up. Maybe it's because I was out of town for nearly a week and couldn't play WoW. But if you keep making fun of me, so help me god I will power level myself to 70 and piss all over your parade.

Rawr. That was a week's worth, I think.

Not only do you get to raid a FUCKING DRAGON ASPECT in this next expansion, but it's a weekly loot!bitch one at that. This isn't like Onyxia, who was just a child of an aspect. No, this is an actual aspect. A weekly dragon bitch raid we do for whatever stupid item we want. Why Blizzard? Why? Are you crazy? Have you gone as mad as Malygos? Who thought this would be a good idea? WHO?

Gnome Warrior

f-gnome.jpgwarrior.jpg

Gnomes are strange little things. Fascinated with gadgets and shiny things, gnomes are often plotting and planning - but are pretty smart, despite all the explosions.

As a warrior, you like to take charge of things. You feel that you're an important part of what's happening - and if things turn sour, you like to have a very large weapon on hand that you can use to negotiate.

Find out your real-life WoW race and class at QuizGalaxy.com

Interesting selection, I suppose. I once made a gnome warrior named Ibis, which is a short-legged bird. She also was an engineer, because it is queer to have a gnome and for them not to be an engineer.

"Are we sure we want to do this?"

Belnistrasz has some uber fashion sense~! I have been trying to run a lot more instances now, preferably with my guild mates, but because I feel I have lost a grip on how to play this class. I am sluggish when it comes to casting banishes and not being quick enough when they break early. If this was Molten Core, I would have had my ass chewed out to the max. That and it's fun to do these things with a challenge and no high level friends to slave me through for phat lewtz.

The quests in instances seem to be more of a challenge. For example, helping Belnistrasz in Razorfen Downs. That's one Hell of a stamina fight and the fact every group I've done it with has been able to successfully complete it is astounding. Back in the past, I remember wiping several times to that quest line and watching the poor dragon get beat down. There has been a lot of 'fixes' made to lower-level dungeons and while most of my veteran comrades are against these changes, I remain mixed on the idea. For one, it allows even lower characters in most instances which I have always frowned upon. People who can't carry their weight have always bothered me, in real life and in game life. Now there's level 14's wanting to run Deadmines and 38's wanting Zul'Furrak. Then there's us daring to test our experience with the game by running dungeons that may be too difficult for us. Yet, we always manage to pull through. It's delightful.

We're nearing the level of instances I enjoy the most and Outlands is just a bit of distance away now. Heroics will start soon and then we'll attempt to tackle even bigger dungeons.

I can't wait.

So what happens when you quest/grind faster than the gear you would get in an instance would last you? Do you a) stop doing instances or b) stop questing/grinding, waste time in queues for PuG's, and then go and lose some caster item to a dumbass hunter?

Woe is me. I really hoped the thing [info]thelordstone mentioned may have been true, but only 70 content as usual. Not that it really bothers me, Outlands leveling is still easier than Azeroth and the levels fly by quickly now.

Also, I must remind myself why I pulled away from the WoW communities the first few times. They are filled to the brim of sarcastic asshats, but never quite catch on to the humor when someone else is applying it. "Is she kidding? Is she not? Is she a newb? Is she a raider? And oh my god what is she doing to that poor poor Felguard..."

Before patch: I got felpuppy. As always, a waste in PVE and he has a lame name. Ah well, next minion to look forward to is my horse. Which will cost me a total of 85s since I saw it right on the trainer today. Huzzah! I thought it'd be opposite of the paladin quest [info]thelordstone was rambling about. "Will you be an evil person?" Yes! "Hope you like having your ass on fire~!"

The patch... is interesting. I flew through 2 levels and would have gone further had I not been offered a free run through SM for loot. My gear's been upgraded to the point of where I actually /have/ spell damage now. It's kind of cool, kind of intimidating. Not a whole lot of SM gear seems to have been updated though. The quests give really great EXP and mobs give a ton more EXP than normal it feels like. That and I don't need any EXP at all now to level. I'll probably be past 40 come the weekend, which makes me pretty giddy. A lot of people complain about this but c'mon. What's there to complain about? That it's easier to have a choice of which characters you want to play with in Mecha and other 70 instances? Geez :P Only problem I can see is buying every one their dang epic flying mounts. But I am sure once I get mine on Cale and start cranking out those dailies I'll have a ton of gold. Plus, warlocks are a really easy class to solo content with. For one, I can make Dire Maul my 'bizznich' as other warlocks have referred to it.

Guild banks... sort of disappointing. I was really expecting a pity tab at least but I can see why Blizzard did it. Cry more people who had different guilds for different alts wanting more storage space? It's just difficult for a lowbie guild to start taking advantage of it. Especially when the costs of the guild bank make it seem like it's suppose to be a jointed effort to pay for it all, but when we're all > 40, gold is pretty important. Now don't take this as a cry of attention of "OMG GIVE GOLD SO WE CAN DO THIS", because really I have 9 slots I can mail all this donated stuff too. :P It's more of my explanation as to WHY we don't have it set up yet.

Recruiting is ever so hard on a server like this. People at my level either want a hand out or erotica emotes, neither of which I am willing to provide. I should have known the server that harvested the dickgirl crazy RP'er that transfered to SoE was going to be somewhat like this... but yeaaaaaaaaaah. I will just have to continue to try harder.
